Having kids changes everything, and unfortunately, they don’t come with instructions (I wish!). Many of us figure things out along the way, which means sometimes we get it right and sometimes we’re absolutely destined to be the hot topic in their future therapy sessions (c’est la vie, amIright?!).

Luna is a new cat mom who would probably agree. She’s doing her best, probably, but that doesn’t mean she’s the purrfect parent—no one is. The important thing is she’s teaching her kittens how to prepare for the outside world with her unique, sometimes rowdy, life lessons!

“Having a sweet, pregnant cat thinking she’s going to be a good mom,” is the funniest caption when Luna is practicing her bunny kick on one of her precious offspring cuties! She doesn’t care because life is hard, and they have to learn sooner rather than later how to deal.

Gentle parenting isn’t for everyone, and it’s clearly not her style (been there, done that, lived to tell the tale). Some kids need a stern, tough, or strict environment to thrive, so I guess you could say this kitty mom is doing them a favor. They’ve got to be ready for anything, including a random, full-body attack from Mom!

“Ain’t no gentle parenting ’round these parts,” one person joked in the comments. “She’s building character,” another pointed out. “Kids change you, man,” another added.

Others who totally get Luna’s vibe weighed in on what she was thinking during those wild times, like one fan who joked, “YOU WANT TO SURVIVE? YOU GOTTA SURVIVE MEEEE FIRST!”

To be fair, those moments caught on camera don’t capture the whole story. Like any tired, annoyed parent who’s touched out when the kittens are acting like hellions, she reacted how she felt at the time. There are just as many tender moments when she’s an amazing mom with her adorable crew.
