There is a very good reason why animals are referred to as fur babies. For starters, they will often act silly, doing adorable things like blowing bubbles or catching seven cases of the zoomies, which gives off a distinctive, childlike energy.

A lot of them also enjoy being held like human babies. Just take Stella, the miniature donkey, for instance. She seems to be completely unaware of the fact that she is a donkey, and not a human child.

But as this video shows, we don’t think anyone is complaining about it because little Stella is just as cute as can be!

As this video shows, Stella just loves to be held by your human dad. And her tiny head definitely fits very snug on his shoulder. Cuddles and snuggles just don’t get any more precious than this!

But don’t worry, Stella’s donkey mama is not far away. In fact, Pepper, her donkey mama, is standing just over her human dad’s shoulder. This video notes that Pepper is always close to her daughter. She’s a terrific mom!

But alas, what will poor Stella do when she finally realizes that she is a miniature donkey and not a human child?

There’s almost a Pinocchio thing going on here, LOL. But hey, Stella is clearly in a very loving environment, with the mother who watches over her and a father who lovingly holds her.

When the day finally comes when this miniature donkey realizes that she is, in fact, a miniature donkey, we are sure that she has all the support necessary to survive any existential crisis that comes her way.

As this other video shows, this family’s human daughter also has plenty of love to get to both Stella and Pepper. She is more than happy to cuddle with and to give good pets to both of them.

It is just so heartwarming to see this kind of love and affection between a young human and these precious animals!
