‘Head Banging’ Goat Begging for a Treat Is the Funniest Mood
It starts with a stare-down and ends with a pet goat banging her head on the glass door to get her mom’s attention, and her late-night snack! Fallon’s Farm shared a hilarious video showing how their goat, Sophie, asks for a bedtime treat, and it’s cracking everyone up.
The video begins with the goat standing outside the family’s home, silently staring inside. When that doesn’t do the trick, she switches tactics and starts head-butting the door to make sure no one misses her request. We can’t stop laughing at her nightly routine!
She will not be ignored! Fallons Farm’s video had others cracking up as much as we were…who could say no to that cute request?!

Commenters’ Mixed Reactions to the Head Banging Goat
Sophie’s head-banging isn’t unusual for goats. They often bump their heads against each other, or even against objects, as a way to establish social dominance, to play, relieve stress, or practice defensive skills. It’s also an important form of communication, whether they’re trying to get your attention or just exploring their surroundings.
People had a lot to say about the video, and not just about the goat. @queen_ofthecasle wondered, “And what does she want you to do??” Fallons replied, “She wants cranberries!!! And rice cakes, lol! Her favorite treats!” @jodyjeep added, “You made a monster!”, with an eye-winking emoji.
@annegoreyoung joked, “So why are you videoing this and not getting her what she politely asks for? Sheesh.” @lindaidesign shared, “I don’t think you need clocks if you live with an animal. They tell you exactly what time it is…”
Another commenter swooned, “Are your windows goat impact like our windows are hurricane impact in Florida?! LOL! Your view is absolutely stunning !! Where is this? You are living my dream!” Fallons replied that their farm is in Montana.
Commenter @seyven_ asked what we were all thinking, “Can we also talk about the views in the background?!” Fallons replied, “We also have a VRBO here at the Rescue that people can stay and enjoy the animals and that amazing view!” Looks like we’re all going to be looking it up!
