Hilarious Corgi’s Post-Anesthesia Haze Turns His World into a Vivid Color Trip

[ad_1]
The dentist can be a polarizing topic because some people love their visits, while others put them off until the last possible second. But when it comes to taking our pups to the dentist, especially when they need sedation—that’s a whole different (and often hilarious) story.
And this Corgi’s post-anesthesia reaction is proof! You’ll want to bookmark this video whenever you need a pick-me-up because it’s adorable. Trust us—take a look!
On February 23, 2025, Instagram user Dash & Lili the Corgis (@dash_and_furrious) shared a video of a cute Corgi named Dash having the time of his life after his dentist visit, which included some anesthesia.

The video starts with Dash being carried in a dog-safe backpack up the escalator. He looks around like he “can hear the colors,” or something is almost too much.
He’s completely spaced out from the visit to the dentist, and he’s no longer awake when he makes it home and rests on the couch. And later, when he’s staring at something in the kitchen that he can only see, it’s so funny!
Others in the comments thought Dash was having the time of his life, too, and they shared their own stories.
One person wrote, “This was literally my dog after her teeth cleaning. Her eyes were so glassed over that I just knew she was in another dimension.”
Another shared, “Beautiful teeth… my puppies also all got their teeth done this week… my bank account is not happy, but they are.”
Some other comments shared on the video include heart-eye emojis, laughing emojis, and funny one-liners. “I have to laugh so hard at this, I’m sorry,” “Dash ain’t dashing anywhere today,” “He just happy to be outta dentist chair,” and “High as a kite. You got me” were a few comments shared on the Instagram video.
Tips for Caring for Your Dog’s Teeth
Dash looked to have had a fine trip to the dentist, and his mom made sure to help him show off his pearly whites at the end of the funny video. They look great, which means the visit was a success in keeping them looking good and healthy, benefiting the sweet pup’s overall health, too. Caring for your dog’s teeth is essential to their health, and there are a few tips to keep in mind.
According to the New England Veterinary Center, at-home care for your dog’s teeth helps prevent periodontal disease, which has been linked to heart disease.
“The link between heart disease and periodontal disease in dogs is caused by bacteria entering the bloodstream from the mouth, causing heart function to suffer and other organs to malfunction,” the experts write. “These health concerns are in addition to the more visible issue of pain caused by eroded gums and missing or damaged teeth.”
Taking your dog to regular vet visits for a dental cleaning can help ensure its overall health stays top-notch for as long as possible.
At the visit, the care team will look for signs of dental problems, and if they need any treatment, sedation is typically recommended to clean or treat the teeth safely.
You can help care for your dog’s teeth at home by making brushing them a part of your routine. Additionally, you can pick up dental chews that help keep teeth free from build-up and discuss with your veterinarian specific tips that will work best for your dog’s needs.
We’re so glad Dash’s visit to the dentist went well, and honestly, we’re happy to have this video to watch whenever we need a reason to smile.
