The list of countries whose entry to America was banned by Trump

March 16, 2025 – Reports are circulating that former U.S. President Donald Trump may consider implementing a travel ban on citizens from 43 countries, should he return to office. The list, divided into three categories—red, orange, and yellow—suggests varying levels of travel restrictions based on security and immigration concerns.

According to an image attributed to The New York Times, the proposed ban categorizes countries as follows:

  • Red (Complete Travel Ban): Citizens from 10 countries, including Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran, and Venezuela, may face a full entry ban into the U.S.
  • Orange (Strict Visa Restrictions): Countries like Pakistan, Russia, Myanmar, and Belarus would experience significantly tightened visa policies.
  • Yellow (60 Days to Address Concerns): Nations such as Angola, Liberia, Zimbabwe, and several Caribbean and African states would have two months to meet certain criteria before facing potential restrictions.

While the image suggests a drastic expansion of previous travel bans imposed during Trump’s presidency, there has been no official confirmation from his campaign or government sources. If implemented, such a ban could spark major diplomatic tensions and face legal challenges similar to those seen during his first term.

Critics argue that such measures disproportionately target nations with weaker economies and limited diplomatic leverage, while supporters claim they are necessary for national security.

The extent of this policy’s implementation remains uncertain, but it signals a potential return to strict immigration policies should Trump regain office. More updates will follow as official statements emerge.
